Review of His Last Resort by M. A. Malcom and new releases.

If you've never heard of her before, M. A. Malcom is a new Christian fiction author that is making a name for herself.  Her newest release, His Last resort was just released this past Tuesday and the kindle version is free for a limited time.  Here's my review.

Robert Mardisen is a businessman and Seminary Student.  He comes in contact with Claire Foxwood, who he feels is not a Christian because she wears make up and her business focuses on makeovers.  Thankfully they both come in contact with "Aunt" Ruby, a spiritually sound elder who dispenses Godly wisdom in a hilarious fashion.  There are not too many times where I can't stand the male character, but at the beginning, Robert is truly a character you can't stand.  It goes to show you that people in church need to not be so judgemental.  It was a great story, and I can't wait to see more from this author.  I give it 5 stars.

When it Happens to You by A. D.

About the book
“You only live once” is not just a motto, but a way of life for Kim Williams. Known as the feistiest one in a tight-knit group of friends known as the “sisterhood”, Kim lives her life in full color and with no regrets. It’s been that way since a doctor’s visit ten years ago.

Despite her religious upbringing, when it comes to men, she’s the love ‘em and leave ‘em type, but with the charming finance manager by day and comedian by night, Darius Tolliver, close on her heels, she works tirelessly to escape his grasp before she falls prey to the powerful connection between them.

As an elementary school teacher, she’s been content with her life as is, but Darius and another doctor’s visit is making her existing reality a fleeting thought.

Will Kim yield to her stubbornness and let love in, or will she run from it forever?

Restoration Song (New Life Tabernacle Series Book 2) by Lashonda Bowman

About the Book
Sixteen years ago, Sophia Thomas, pastor’s wife and first lady of New Life Tabernacle, packed her bags and disappeared, leaving her husband and church to wonder where, and why, she’d gone.

Now she’s secretly come back, hoping to repair her fragile relationship with her ailing mother.

But her return doesn't stay secret for long. And neither do the reasons why she left.

As the truth comes out, it opens old wounds, threatens new relationships, and exposes deeds better left in the past.

Amid the turmoil, Sophia must decide whether to remain behind the wall of isolation she's built around herself or risk her broken heart by learning to live again.
